In Garissa, conversations with adolescents revealed a dual reality, they hold big dreams and aspirations, yet many feel despondent and unsure if they will ever fulfil their potential. This tension, hope overshadowed by doubt, became the heart of our campaign. We set out to embolden young people, turning desire into determination. Dhalinyaroy aynu baraugno is more than a call to action; it positions Garissa’s adolescents as a new generation with the courage, wisdom, and energy to tackle the challenges that have long afflicted their communities. The campaign continues to shift the narrative around Garissa’s adolescents, spotlighting their dreams, struggles, and resilience. Rather than only addressing risks or challenges, it amplifies their ambitions and places them at the heart of community progress. Dhalinyaroy aynu baraugno helps adolescents see themselves not just as beneficiaries, but as vision bearers with the power to chart new possibilities for their generation.  This campaign is funded by UNICEF and implemented by CBCC, County Governments of Garissa and partners.
