This campaign inspires demand-driven, gender-equitable access to quality finger millet seed and farm inputs, especially among emerging women and youth enterprises. It promotes safe, responsible farming, no shortcuts, just the highest standards. Ukulima SURE reminds farmers that the seed is the start of it all: the root of nourishment, income, and dignity. By choosing the right seed, caring for it, and harvesting its promise, farmers sow a future that’s both secure and sustainable. It all starts with the seed. The campaign is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates though CGIAR/CIMMYT and implemented by CBCC and County Government of Busia, Kenya.
