Across Turkana and Samburu, young people are navigating a changing world. They face pressures from peers, traditions, and limited opportunities. Yet, youth are also seen as the community’s future, energetic, bold, and capable of charting new paths. The challenge is: how do we help them rise above risks and claim their power? Ngi’sorok Atonyoutu/ Mainyotto is a rallying cry, “Let’s wise up, let’s rise up.” It speaks directly to adolescents and youth, telling them they can be the authors of their own futures. The campaign redefines what it means to grow up with purpose, daring to dream and choosing wisely. Youth begin to see themselves differently, not just as passive recipients of advice but as decision-makers in charge of their health and future. The campaign builds a stronger culture of self-respect and resilience among adolescents, while normalizing open conversations around reproductive health and life skills. This campaign is funded by USAID, implemented by CBCC Africa in partnership with Turkana County, Samburu County, and partners.
